Proper use and maintenance of papermaking blankets are essential for extending their service life, reducing and eliminating unplanned downtime, saving costs and reducing consumption.
1 、 Before boarding
(1) Check whether the packaging is complete.
(2) Check whether the product number, specifications, square meter weight, etc. marked on the Baotou are the same as the order content.
(3) Open the package to check the appearance quality and specifications of the blanket, verify the product number and view the running arrow.
2. On-machine installation
(1) Clean the relevant parts of the paper machine.
(2) See the front and back sides and running direction of the papermaking felt.
(3) Prevent oil stains and hard objects from damaging the blanket.
(4) Stop deadlifts.
3. Dry running
After the new blanket is put on the machine, after a certain time and pressure, the pre-compressed air operation can not only wash off the floating hair on the surface of the blanket, improve the flatness of the blanket surface, wash away the oil stains when replacing the blanket, but also improve the density of the blanket. So that the air permeability of the felt is closer to the best papermaking state of the paper machine.
(1) Flatten all blankets evenly.
(2) The water can evenly moisten the blanket evenly.
(3) Tighten the blanket properly.
(4) Check the flatness of all rollers and felts.
(5) Apply a certain amount of pressure.
(6) The paper machine crawls.
(7) Tension the blanket again.
(8) Apply pressure to normal pressure.
(9) Wash (or about 3% hot alkaline water) to soften the felt.
(10) Turn on the washing water and vacuum system.
(11) Depending on the surface condition of the felt, the degree of shaping of the surface of the felt can be adjusted by itself.
4. Paper production by pulping
(1) Make preparations before slurrying.
(2) Adjust the tension of the blanket to the normal state in time after releasing the slurry.
(3) Ensure that the line pressure on both sides of the press section is consistent and adjust the line pressure in time.
(4) Ensure the normal operation of the vacuum system and washing system.
(5) Observe the running state of the blanket and adjust in time.
(6) Prevent pulp and damaged paper from entering the nip or blanket.
5. Daily maintenance
(1) Prevent the blanket from being folded, uneven wear, uneven washing and accidental damage.
(2) Use high-pressure water, fan-shaped water, and vacuum washer correctly.
(3) Strengthen the continuous and regular washing of blankets, and use chemical detergents reasonably.
(4) When the downtime exceeds four hours, wash the blanket and relax.
